LEGAL CONDITIONS OF THE "FRIENDS OF THE FOUNDATION" PROGRAM
"Friends of the Foundation" program (hereinafter, the Program) offered by the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela Foundation (hereinafter, the Foundation) through its website https://www.ayudaalacatedral.es/
1. Purpose of the Programme
The Programme allows individuals and legal entities to become Friends of the Cathedral, collaborating with the foundational activity through an annual donation or donation made through the website. The subscription grants a series of benefits, established according to the category of Friend chosen, and detailed on the Foundation's website.
2. Friend Categories
The following can subscribe to the Program:
- Individuals

Companies, with the following modalities:
- Friend
- Contributor
- Benefactor
- Protector
Each category has different benefits, which are described on the Program's information page.
3. Registration and Subscription
To complete the subscription, the user must:
- Fill in the registration form available on the website.
- Select the desired Friend category.

Make the annual donation, choosing any of the available payment methods:
- Bank transfer
- Bizum
- Bank card
Once the donation has been made, an additional form will be displayed to complete the necessary data for the issuance of the Amigo card.
The Foundation will confirm the subscription by means of an email, which will include the details of the operation and the instructions for requesting future withdrawal from the Programme. It is recommended to keep this email.
4. Duration of the Subscription
he subscription is valid for one calendar year from the month in which the user formalises their registration, until the end of the same month of the following year.
Upon expiry, the Friend may renew his/her subscription by following the procedure set out on the website.
5. Amigo's Notebook
Once the subscription is completed, the Foundation will issue a Friend Card, which may:
- Pick up in person at the Foundation's headquarters, or
- Be received by post, in accordance with the data provided in the form after the donation.
6. Program Benefits
Friend status allows you to enjoy specific benefits such as discounts, free passes and other privileges defined by the Foundation for each category of the Program.
Thematic visits associated with the Programme can be booked:
- Through the website, or
- By telephone at the numbers provided by the Foundation.
Benefits may be updated or modified by the Foundation depending on their programming, activity and availability.
7. Taxation
Current legislation provides for certain tax incentives for donations made to foundations. The Foundation will provide, where appropriate, the information necessary for the Friend to apply these advantages in accordance with the applicable tax regulations.
8. Payment Methods
The donation can be made by:
- Bank transfer
- Bizum
- Bank card
The user guarantees that he/she has authorisation to use the selected payment method and that the data provided is true.
9. Unsubscribing
The user may request at any time to unsubscribe from the Program by following the instructions sent in the subscription confirmation email. This email must be kept to speed up the procedure.

The cancellation does not entail a refund of the donation, given its nature as a voluntary contribution to the Foundation.
10. Liability
The Foundation does not guarantee the uninterrupted availability of the website, although it will use its best efforts to keep it operational. Nor is it responsible for interruptions derived from technical causes or force majeure.
The user undertakes to make appropriate use of the website and not to carry out illegal or fraudulent activities or activities that violate the rights of third parties.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute that may arise from them, the parties submit to the courts of the consumer's domicile in the event that the affected user has such a condition.

The processing of the personal data provided within the framework of the Programme will be carried out by the Foundation in accordance with the provisions of its Privacy Policy, which details the purposes, legitimacy, transfers, rights of the interested parties and other information required by the applicable regulations (GDPR and LOPDGDD).
